Here’s a scan from the 1984 Fall Sears catalog featuring 'The Winner' retro sneakers. This catalog also has “Jack Twyman” branded tennis shoes that look a little like Stan Smith sneakers. Twyman played in the NBA for the Rochester/Cincinnati Royals who later became the Sacramento Kings.
Here's some vintage Sears "The Winner" sneakers from their 1981 catalog. Like the Trax Kmart post from yesterday "The Winner" line was a sub-brand of Sears and were also meant to compete with the likes of Nike, Adidas and Puma. Btw, This old catalog was the weight of a cinder block and nearly destroyed my scanner (as you can see in the last pic.)
